Pattaya is well known for its variety of leisure activities, particularly its opportunities for water sports. Offshore there are several tropical islands, fringed with palms and surrounded by sparkling sea. This excursion takes us to the largest of the islands, Koh Lan. On the way a stop will be made for the optional extra purchase of a paragliding or sea walking activity (taken at the clients own risk and discretion). On arrival at Koh Lan there is free time to relax on the beach or purchase other optional activities (taken at the clients own risk and discretion). Return by boat to Pattaya. A drive through the 100 acre Safari Park presents a unique opportunity to experience a close encounter with rare and endangered species. The feeding show allows you to get close to fearsome predators such as lions, tigers and bears. Marine Park plays host to a vast spectrum of animals from land, sea and air and is the setting for eight amazing world-class shows by animals like a dolphin show. Afternoon proceed to tour of Bangkok city including visits to the temples of Wat Pho and Wat Traimitr, followed by a visit to Royal Lapidary. A tour of historic and modern Krung Thep or 'City of Angels' as Bangkok is known to the Thai people. The program includes a visit to Wat Jetuphon (better known as Wat Pho), the oldest of the city temples situated opposite the Grand Palace. The temple is renowned as Thailand's oldest university and there are instructive murals illustrating the finer points of Thai massage which is still taught and practised here. The highlight is the 46 meter long and 15 meter high statue of a reclining Buddha. Also included is a visit to Wat Traimitr, located near to Bangkok's main railway station. The temple houses 5.5 tones gold Buddha, which was discovered when its plaster casing broke whilst being transported to its new home from the port area. The tour terminates via a visit to a Jewelry retailer (Royal Lapidary). Lunch at local Indian restaurant. Rest of the day at leisure for explore the city & extra activities.
